Ch-13 Changes in Gacha

Status changes aren't something you notice much in everyday life, but the skill changes are much more noticeable.

The most obvious change is that I can now draw from the gacha twice a day, which is significant. But there's another change that stands out even more - the quality of the prizes.

I still occasionally win everyday items like dishes, but the quality has definitely improved.

For example, I've started getting things like 1kg of beef or muskmelon. Best of all, I've started getting items that look like weapons. These had only appeared twice in the past six months.

The weapons are no longer simple kitchen knives - they include army knives or even daggers, which are much closer to real weapons.

Being able to draw twice a day makes this skill incredibly useful. The ingredients I win are a big hit with my mother, while the weapons I collect are distributed to my family for self-defense.

The beef, for example, is of surprisingly high quality - much tastier than the cheap cuts you'd find at the grocery store. I've also received pork and chicken, which allows us to enjoy a variety of dishes.

At the same time I was leveling up, another significant change occurred in my daily life.

"Good morning, Miyazaki-kun."

"Oh, good morning, Kagurazaka-san."

Kagurazaka-san, someone I didn't talk to much in class before, started greeting me in the morning.

It may not seem like a big deal, but being greeted by a cute girl definitely adds a little spice to my school life.

"Good morning, Mikado-kun."

"Good morning, Mikami-san."

"Ou."

"Good morning, Domoto."

It wasn't just Kagurazaka-san. Other classmates I hadn't interacted with much before started greeting me often as well.

Apparently, the students who ran away during the goblin attack had heard from those who stayed behind about how I defeated the goblin. They seemed to feel a sense of gratitude and started talking to me more.

I wouldn't say I was a complete loner before, but it feels nice to have more friends. This is definitely a positive change.

"Good morning, Omae-kun."

"Good morning."

The girls still call out to Omae, who remains as popular as ever. However, there has been a subtle change - not in the girls, but in Omae himself.

Even though Omae managed to defeat the goblins on the floor below, the experience seems to have humbled him. Perhaps the goblins were stronger than he expected. Since then, Omae has toned down his usual braggadocio.

As for the axe I used to kill the goblin, my classmates asked me what I'd done with it. I told them that I kept it for self-defense.

The morning greetings lifted my spirits, and I was able to concentrate better in class.

Later, my mother prepared a lunch for me that was much more extravagant than usual. Of course, it was thanks to the ingredients I got from the Gacha.

It's becoming clear that my skill, Gacha is much more effective than I first thought.
