Although I felt something was wrong after my conversation with Okajima and the others, curiosity got the better of me around lunchtime.
I decided to walk around the school and look into other classrooms. However, nothing out of the ordinary seemed to be happening.
No one else was talking about the strange status screen like I was.
"Is it just my phone acting up? No, it can't be... A status screen that only I can see."
The thought sent a shiver down my spine.
"It feels kind of gross."
I felt a strange nausea, as if I were in the middle of a supernatural phenomenon. But there wasn't much I could do about it, so I decided to endure the rest of the day and go home as usual.
On the train ride home, I checked the posts again. The number of search results had increased significantly from that morning. I decided to click on one of the threads.

At first, most of the posts seemed to be from people like me, confused by the sudden appearance of their status screens.
But somewhere along the way, things started to escalate. A growing number of users reported that they could actually use their abilities.
The posts revealed that the type and number of skills varied from person to person. Could this really be happening?
"Maybe... they are awakening the powers like in a game or a novel."
No, that's ridiculous.
Still, what was my skill, 'Gacha-1'? Could it work like the gacha in a smartphone game where you get random items or characters?
But what good would that do? Even if I got something, it would just appear on my phone, right? It's not a fighting or survival skill.
Or was it more like a physical gacha machine where you turn a knob and a capsule comes out?
I doubted that as well. Could weird monsters appear instead? No, that was definitely impossible.
